Solaris Wins Best Irish Organic Grocery Product second year in a row

Solaris has won the Best Irish Organic Grocery Product Award by Bord Bia a second year in a row. Last year the Award was won for our range of Teas. This year we won this prestigious award for our Bamboo Presentation Box containing 9 varieties of 1st Flush, Organic Teas in Biodegradable Silken Tea Bags (see right hand side-- scroll down). We were also awarded commended Best Beverage/Wine Product of the Year.

We are proud to continue to get recognition on our innovative and high quality products. Earlier this year we increased our Great Taste Awards to 6 Gold Medals.

The independent judging panel included Chairman Dermot O'Connell, Senior Buyer, Tesco; Evan Doyle Proprietor, The Strawberry Tree Restaurant, BrookLodge; Sara McSweeney, Artisan Food Technologist, Teagasc Moorepark; Patrice Ryan, Buyer, Donnybrook Fair; Dr. Trevor Storey; School of Agriculture, Food Science and Veterinary Medicine, UCD and Ross Golden-Bannon, Editor, Food and Wine Magazine.
