Launch of Solaris Tea's Biodegradable Silken Tea Bag range in September

Solaris Botanicals launches biodegradable Tea Bag

We are proud to announce the launch of our 100% Biodegradable Silken Tea Bag range in September 2008. These will consist of 15 certified organic, 1st flush, speciality whole-leaf teas ranging from Herbal Tea blends to White Tea, Green Teas, Oolong and Black Teas. There will be also gift packaging available made from sustainably grown bamboo. Have a look at our preview pictures on the right hand side (scroll down).

More information on Solaris Tea's Biodegradable Tea Bag:

1.	Made of poly-lactic acid filaments from non GM corn starch.
2.	Contained no hazardous substances such as endocrine disruptors (environmental hormones)
3.	Completely biodegraded when disposed in soil.
4.	No generation of hazardous gases such as dioxin when burnt. Decomposed into carbon dioxide and water.
5.	Antibacterial and antifungal.
